Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you have a storefront?

Not yet! We currently work out of a commercial kitchen located in the SODO. As of now, you can find our products at Uwajimaya (Seattle & Renton locations), Maruta Shoten, Koto Jelly Coffee and Anh Oi Bake Shop (CID - Japantown). You can also find us occasionally at pop-ups, events, and farmers markets. Make sure to follow up on Instagram to see when our next event is.

  • Do you take special orders or catering orders?

Yes! If you would like to place a special order or need dessert catering please email us at orders@akiosbakery.com or message us using the “Special Order Request” page.

  • I’ve sent a Special order request but I haven’t heard back?

Please allow 24 to 48 hours for us to respond. If you don’t see an order confirmation email after 48 hours please check your spam. If after you check your spam folder and you still do not see it please email us again or reach out via Instagram.

  • Do you deliver?

YES! We delivery anywhere between Everett and Tacoma and as far east as Issaquah. Delivery fee is determined by distance from our kitchen.

  • do any of the pastries contain gelatin?

No. We do not use gelatin in any of our pastries or custards. The main ingredients that are used are flour, milk, butter, and eggs.

  • How should I store my pastries? How long will they stay fresh?

Anything with dairy, such as our cream puffs, must be refrigerated. Pastries are best eaten fresh but will stay for 1-2 days if stored properly.

  • can I cancel my order or chnage my order date?

If you need to cancel or change your order date, please contact us at least 3 days in advance. Changes CANNOT be made same day or day before. This allows us to prevent excess waste and helps us with planning.

If you have anymore questions or would like us to add to the list/elaborate, please feel free to contact us through the contact page or on Instagram.
